Getting started
Five steps, no sales call. You can stop after any of them and pick up later; the dashboard keeps a checklist of what is left.

About 3 minutes
The builder asks a few questions: what the business is called, what you do, when you are open, and what a caller most often wants. Riley uses the answers to greet callers, answer the usual questions, and take a message or book when it cannot.
Shortcut: paste your website address at the first question. Riley reads it and fills in most of the answers for you, so you only confirm and fix what is off.
About 3 minutes
Riley needs a line to answer on. Pick whichever fits how you work today. You can switch later.
Option A
A real US number for $1.15 a month. Choose an area code, click once, and it rings Riley right away. Good if you are starting fresh or want a separate line for the receptionist.
Option B
Keep the number your customers already know. You still get a Rinqly number in the background; your carrier sends calls to it with a short code you dial once from the business phone.
Most businesses forward only when busy or unanswered, so you still pick up when you can and Riley takes the rest. “All calls” sends everything to Riley.
Dial the code from the phone that owns the business number. The examples below use (415) 555-0199; the dashboard shows the codes with your own Rinqly number filled in, ready to copy.

Carriers change these now and then. If a code is rejected, your carrier's support line can turn on conditional forwarding to your Rinqly number in a minute.
Once the code is dialed, the phone page has a “Start test” button. Type your business number, press it, then call that number from a different phone and let it ring. When Riley picks up, the box turns green and forwarding is marked as verified in your checklist. If nothing arrives within three minutes, the test times out: dial the code again and retry.
About 2 minutes
Call your Rinqly number (or the forwarded business number) from your own mobile. Act like a customer: ask what you offer, ask for prices, ask when you are open, then ask to book or leave a message. Try to trip it up with a question you get every week.
What you will see
Something off? Open the agent settings, fix the greeting or the answer, and call again. Changes apply to the next call.
About 1 minute
On the agent page, flip the switch to Active. From now on every call to the line is answered.
Then put the number where people look
After setup
Each morning you get one email with yesterday's calls, bookings, and anything that needs a callback.
If you turn it on in settings, a caller who hangs up before Riley answers gets a text back so the lead is not lost.
7 days and 60 answered minutes, whichever comes first. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan.
Full pricing, including chat and outbound.
Email support@rinqly.ai with your business name and the step number, and a person will reply.
